Objectives:

Program Coordinator –is expected to work for achieving the defined outputs and outcomes. S/he work objective would be  

  • To lead and facilitate the team to implement the activities proposed in project  
  • To coordinate with the head office team and with the donor agency 
  • To undertake required documentation and reporting 
  • To document success stories in the project and Annual Report
  • To study the project area and facilitate preparation of DPR
  • To facilitate convergence of govt scheme and other development interventions for maximizing the impact of the project.

Responsibility

  1. Maintaining Relationship with the stakeholders
  2. Regularly monitor programme progress and track budget utilization,
  3. Assist the Program Director in Timely Achieving the Project Goals
  4. Study the ongoing interventions in the program verticals across the globe and suggest innovations
  5. Planning and implementation of Activities based on the project proposal
  6. Achieve the targets in the given timeline
  7. Ensure timely submission of annual work plan, fund requests and progress reports to donor.
  8. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with potential agency partners and related government departments, corporations, academia and other relevant agencies for convergence of scheme and knowledge dissemination;
  9. Proper and timely Documentation and reporting of the activities
  10. Support to Team Members for achieving desired result in the project.
  11. Other Administrative Responsibilities given time to time by the Krushi Vikas

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • QUALIFICATION:

He/ She should be Graduate from any reputed institution and experience in management of Development Project.

  • EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience with NGO / Government in management and implementation of development programme in rural livelihoods especially in sustainable Agriculture projects; Need experience of working with Maharashtra state government schemes and program, especially convergence is mandate

  • To study the climatic condition and current biodiversity of the project area
  • To Identify the issues in Environmental Degradation in the project area
  • To coordinate with various institute to prepare a plan to overcome the identified GAPS /Issues
  • To design and execute Interventions for Maintaining Biodiversity
  • To disseminate Knowledge and Technology to support the interventions
  • To support other project interventions for overall development of the project beneficiary family.
  • To facilitate convergence of govt scheme and other development interventions for maximizing the impact of the project.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience with NGO / Government in Biodiversity Management and implementation of environment related programme in rural areas.

 To Identify Soil Water Conservation (SWC) related issues and plan interventions to deal with them

 To identify the training needs and undertake capacity building initiatives on SWC

 To support other project interventions for the overall development of the project beneficiary families.

 To facilitate convergence of govt scheme and other development interventions for maximizing the impact of the project.

 To contribute in planning and execution of development interventions
